How To Be A More Energized Mom Through the Holidays

This post contains affiliate links.

The winter holiday season is approaching faster and faster each year. Sometimes i feel like some months get skipped its moving so fast. I only speak for myself when I say that when it comes to this time of year it's definitely a love/hate relationship. I love the idea of family bonding and coming closer together through giving and gratitude. But I hate how busy life gets and how much of an energy drain it is to pull out all the bells and whistles.

Having enough energy to get through my day is crucial being a stay at home, homeschooling, online business running mom of three and wifey to my best friend. Throw in some holidays, which may or may not include hubby doing overtime (thus leaving me home alone with the kids for longer amounts of time), shopping, cooking, working on my blog and business, not dropping the ball on our lesson plans like a really really want to, traveling and a whole lot more from my day to day life and holiday planning. I have had to use these 5 daily practices to stay on point and energetic during the holiday season each year.

Winter came way too fast for us. I'm so happy that it did because this is one of our favorite times of year. Phoenix cools off for us and we start getting the fall weather. It's really beautiful to see the fall colors mixed with the Christmas decorations. We get fall late here but I absolutely love it.

I wanted to share with you all some fun preschool themes for the winter season. It's always good to go in with a plan. I learned that when I don't have a plan for my homeschool I usually end up doing nothing at all. Holiday season can be really busy so you can pick and choose which themes, books and crafts you and your preschooler might be most interested in. I love having crafts for each theme because little preschool hands love to create. And my little preschool faces are just too cute when they beam with pride over their finished project.

Books are a huge way we learn in our homeschool. Books will always be a necessity in my opinion. Books encourage imagination and deliver new concepts that may not usually come along in day to day life.

With 2019 approaching rapidly are you thinking about what your goals are going to be in life? Financial, personal, fitness, health, love, business. Holiday Books for Your Preschooler

Holiday Books for Preschoolers

We love the holiday season. Once October hits we officially begin our favorite time of year. We love keeping up with the seasons and what comes with those seasons. As Fall is turning a corner we can do nothing but plan for winter. And that means we have some book shopping to do for our homeschool preschool. My blog, our homeschool and most of our activities are based on what time of year it is. So I like to keep us prepared ahead of time. These are some of the books we are getting or have for Christmas!

Overview

The Slay Your Goals Planner is the perfect planner for every homemaker.

Every homemaker needs goals and action plans to achieve those goals. (Not to mention you need more reason than just getting through the day and chores to wake up every morning.) But I will save that for another post.

Our Home Education Journey

When my second son was born my first son began to regress.

He was just over a year old and at first he was talking and jabbering but when he realized there was a new baby and he was here to stay, he stopped completely.
