The Best Winter Themes, Books & Crafts

Winter came way too fast for us. I'm so happy that it did because this is one of our favorite times of year. Phoenix cools off for us and we start getting the fall weather. It's really beautiful to see the fall colors mixed with the Christmas decorations. We get fall late here but I absolutely love it.

I wanted to share with you all some fun preschool themes for the winter season. It's always good to go in with a plan. I learned that when I don't have a plan for my homeschool I usually end up doing nothing at all. Holiday season can be really busy so you can pick and choose which themes, books and crafts you and your preschooler might be most interested in. I love having crafts for each theme because little preschool hands love to create. And my little preschool faces are just too cute when they beam with pride over their finished project.

Books are a huge way we learn in our homeschool. Books will always be a necessity in my opinion. Books encourage imagination and deliver new concepts that may not usually come along in day to day life.
So let's jump in with the best (in my opinion) preschool themes, books and crafts.

Winter/Weather/Snow

1. The Snowy Day - The adventures of a little boy in the city on a very snowy day.
2. Making Grizzle Grow - I love this book because it takes us on a cute dinosaur adventure that all takes place in a little girl's imagination.
